- Book early!
- Check out our post on local things to do (markets, events etc)
- Research restaurants, cafes, bakeries and places to eat (or where the local shops are if you prefer cooking)
- Pack light
- Download a few episodes of your favourite tv shows or movies you want to watch
- Bring a book (or two)
- Check out where you can hire local bikes
- Pack your favourite tea bags and coffee pods (although Casuarina Village a 2 minute walk away for any supermarket items)
- Slip, slop, slap, seek, slide
- Winter is a great time to visit (our favourite time of year)
What I love best about when my husband and I travel is that he sorts the itinerary and I do the travel and accommodation bookings. This works really well for us as he LOVES to see and do as much as he can during holidays – and while I am a willing participant – his research is the best! We end up trying great restaurants, walking through wonderful vistas, trying new activities and mixing with the locals. Best trips ever!
